This increases the reliability of the Pyro Bright Flash by eliminating recalls due to the timing system’s failure to start. The flash unit produces enough light to start the Pyro Bright Flash Unit even when the unit is poorly aimed or there is a bright background.

FlashTiming Flash Unit can also reduce the cost of gun ammunition used in a meet. The flash is triggered by the sound of the gunshot and requires only a low caliber gun. The traditional Pyro Bright Flash system requires a a special pistol or 32-caliber pistol with the costly ammunition of $.50/shot. Compare that to the ammunition of a 22-caliber pistol at $0.10/shot– a 75% savings! The FlashUnit will pay for itself in a couple of seasons.
